The third wounded man was rushed to a nearby hospital. Two of them was soon allowed to go home and another had to undergo surgery for fractured bones in his leg. The condition is expressed by the organizers of the concert, Jorge Esma, told AFP.
The concert was scheduled to be held on Saturday (3/4/2010) time there. Esma explains, the concert will not be canceled or postponed. To that end, the stage of collapse is being repaired quickly.
The stage collapsed when the top of a 80-meter-high metal frame collapses. The accident made access for tourists to visit the Mayan pyramids in situ closed on the same day.
