Van Persie Not Want to Discuss New Contract

Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood said the striker Robin van Persie did not want to talk about a contract extension. However, it does not worry Arsenal.

Van Persie is still under contract until 2013. However, the fact that Arsenal never won anything since 2005 makes a number of people predicted that Van Persie is considering a move, especially if Arsenal re-close this season without a title.

The notch 15 goals and four assists in 15 appearances in the Premier League this season, Van Persie is believed to not be difficult to find a new club. British media even called the Manchester City will bid for Van Persie large, the end of this season.

"I think Robin wanted to survive. He seemed very happy. No conversation (about a new contract), but obviously we want him to stay here. He does not want to talk about a new contract today, and it's not a problem for us," says Hill -Wood.
